Fermented Plant Juice

How to Make Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ):

  1. Get your materials together:
    • Brown sugar
    • Sharp knife of scissors
    • Large mixing container w/ large mouth (bigger the better)
    • Fermentation container w/ large mouth (glass, ceramic preferred over plastic)
    • Scale
    • Rubberbands
    • Papertowel
    • Non-poisonous vibrant plant
    • Storage container (ceramic, glass or HDPE plastic)
  1. Get your plants early in the morning while the morning dew is still on them.
  2. Chop your plant or flower material.
  3. Weigh your material and mix it in equal parts with brown sugar.
  4. Fill your fermenting jar ¾ full. 
  5. Brown sugar on top of container once full.
  6. Clean container and lid of sticky sugar.
  7. Use papertowel and rubberbands to cover top of jar.
  8. Store for 5-7 days for the fermentation process to complete. 
  9. Strain it into a container to a fine liquid. 
  10. Cover with breathable cloth and lid and store in a dark cool place.
