Materials List:
- Rice
- Milk (any kind)
- 2 containers (1 large mouth if possible)
- Mesh or straining and/or funnel
- Brown sugar (if no refrigeration)
- Wash rice
- Place rice wash water in container
- Cover with papert towel and fasten around rim with rubberband
- Store for 3-5 days (3 for hotter outdoor temp, 5 for colder)
- Look for a sweet fermentation smell as indication it’s ready
- In 2nd container you will mix the rice wash water with milk at a ratio of 1:10 (1 part rice water, 10 parts milk
- Cover with paper towel and fasten around rim with rubberhand
- Store for 48 hours
- Using funnel, strainer and cheese cloth, strain the whey into the container.
